JUSTICE SERVED PART 5: Minor League Organist Ejected For Playing “Three Blind Mice”

Image
The umpire ejected him after playing "Three Blind Mice" 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/MmlExvBkPT — Baseball Quotes (@BaseballQuotes1) August 16, 2023 Talk about disrespectful. It doesn't matter if you're not a participant on the field or in the dugout, you're not above the long arm of the law. Hit the showers, bub. I guess this organist thought he could just play a children's song and get away with it. Well, think again buddy. Turn the instrument off and kill the music. It really was a textbook ejection even though he had to point up to the press box, but he gave it a decisive “UR DONE!”  Good on the umpire for holding him accountable. This was clearly a targeted attack on the ump's vision and definitely not a harmless nursery rhyme in between batters. That kind of reckless aggression on the keys has no place in the game and I'm glad he got tossed.  This is all made better because you can hear everything over the roar of the dozens in attendance. This must'...

JUSTICE SERVED PART 4: Phil Cuzzi With A Heroic Balk Call

Phil Cuzzi, Emphatic Balk Demonstration pic.twitter.com/g4ylawIFqC — Codify (@CodifyBaseball) May 7, 2023 Think you'll try a funky windup to throw the hitter's timing? Not on Phil Cuzzi's watch! On Sunday, Phil Cuzzi stomped the yard and issued a balk to Astros pitcher Matt Gage. You gotta respect the way he handles this type of thing and doesn't draw attention to himself, he's such a pro about it. Everyone knows it's a shame when the Ump Show takes over and the players get upstaged, nobody wants to see that happen. This time, Phil was simply demonstrating why the balk was called and flipping it into a teaching moment for a young pitcher. Really quite thoughtful of him.   Y'all remember Phil Cuzzi, right?  He's the ump who tossed Max Scherzer last month for having a case of the sticky hands. Scherzer swore up and down that his hand was mega tacky from a mixture of sweat and rosin. It was a good try by "Max" to pull the wool over his eyes, but ...

JUSTICE SERVED Part 3 - This Time JT Realmuto Gets Tossed For Embarrassing An Umpire

Image
J.T. Realmuto got thrown out of the game for... this? pic.twitter.com/mUvpviQy0U — Jomboy Media (@JomboyMedia) March 27, 2023 Honestly such a dick move by J.T. here to move his glove as the ump went to replace the ball. Amazing sense of timing to purposely remove his glove without even looking, but ya just simply can't do that and expect to stay in the game. With great power comes great responsibility . Don't you DARE embarrass an umpire on their field, they have a tiny sliver of authority and they WILL remove you.  Keeping things in order is no easy task and this hero should be given a raise. Unacceptable behavior by J.T. Realmuto, gotta teach him a lesson in respect. In my opinion, give this umpire more regular season games, I'm tired of seeing MLB players get such big heads and act like they're all that - he clearly doesn't put up with any shit. It's not like the fans are there to watch only them, time to stop being so selfish.

JUSTICE SERVED Part 2 - Another College Baseball Umpire Restores Order After Raucous HR Celebration

Image
He hit a go ahead HR. However .. He was ejected and suspended for the next game because the bat flip was ruled excessive. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/Yd4cHOAMN2 — Michael Schlact (@michael_schlact) March 26, 2023 Another VERY inappropriate home run celebration in college baseball thwarted by the umpires. Seems like he was definitely trying to show up the pitcher with that one so it was really quite brave of the umpire to make that decision. Can't have these teenagers celebrating go-ahead home runs with their teammates. You hit a home run? Good for you, now place that bat on the ground and sprint around those bases with your head down. No high fives or showboating. Have some respect for the game!  This time it was a University of Arkansas Monticello student-athlete by the name of Chase Cripps that was out of line with the excessive bat flip. For his act of showmanship he was granted an ejection and one-game suspension. Justice served, once again. Heaven knows what might've happene...

JUSTICE SERVED: College Baseball Player Gets Ejected For Excessive Celebration

Image
Thank goodness the umpires were there to stop this before it got out of hand. I've been thinking about how college baseball players have been having too much fun, so I'm glad they're cracking down on that. The brazen disrespect of this celebration simply will not fly, this kid got what he deserved.  Washington’s Will Simpson got ejected for this “excessive celebration” after hitting a game-tying home run in the sixth inning Pretty ridiculous pic.twitter.com/JISbQatbYo — Jomboy Media (@JomboyMedia) February 21, 2023 I'm happy that college baseball is back, MLB Spring Training games are here, and everybody's in the "best shape of their life".  Nothing like the pop of the leather and the crack of the bat ringing back in our ears as life springs anew.  So far, there have been a few rule changes in college that have been an adjustment.  Get in the box or get on out pic.twitter.com/FR1qkJr4Ey — Arkansas Baseball (@RazorbackBSB) February 18, 2023 This is an in...
