7 Ways James Harden Can Make The 76ers Very Uncomfortable This Offseason

Image
James Harden is just getting started and plans to make things more uncomfortable for Philadelphia, per @ramonashelburne “Somebody said to me yesterday, 'This is only the beginning. This is just the beginning of what James Harden is going to do to make life very uncomfortable… pic.twitter.com/yXDX16XRLr — NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) August 15, 2023   I’ll be the first to admit that I'm a bit of a fledgling NBA fan. I'm the furthest thing from an expert on the league but I respect and enjoy it for the elite product that it is. I adored the NBA in the mid 90's, but somewhere along the way, my fandom slipped. That is, until the past 5 or so seasons. Eventually, I realized that I was fortunate enough as a kid to enjoy Jordan in his prime as well as Lebron/Steph/etc. at their respective peaks, so I'd be remiss if I just ignored them while they're still ongoing. In recent years, my interest has been rekindled and the NBA has regained a spot as more than a glorified p...

43-Year-Old Lucas Glover Overcame Severe Swamp Ass En Route To A Second Straight PGA Tour Win

Image
At 43, Lucas Glover probably didn't envision himself winning back-to-back PGA Tour events. Good thing he pulled it off, because all anyone could talk about down the stretch was his sweaty ass.  After winning the Wyndham Championship last week, he stayed hot (literally) by winning the St. Judes Championship, the first leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs. He was ranked 49th in the official standings as of last week and now sits behind Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Scottie Scheffler at 4th overall. It's been an insane two week run for Glover and the Ryder Cup rumbles are suddenly louder (it should still be Justin Thomas).  Up until 2021 when he won the John Deere Classic, Lucas Glover went 10 years in between wins on the PGA Tour. Good for him on the resurgence, but if he's gonna be thrust into the spotlight again winning tournaments and outgunning younger guys, he's gonna need to find some sweat-wicking pants. Anyone that golfs in any capacity during the summer months knows the s...

The Commanders Are Soft, Already Whining About Eric Bienemy Being Too Intense

Asked Ron Rivera about Eric Bieniemy ... pic.twitter.com/vdKy6qMjDu — Nicki Jhabvala (@NickiJhabvala) August 8, 2023 I'm sorry, I thought this was the NFL. Somewhere along the way, have players become entitled? Thinking they're too good for some old-fashioned, hard-nosed coaching? You're finally free from the grimy clutches of Dan Synder and you're complaining about a coach being too hard on you? Grow up and get hard. There's a reason this organization hasn't had a winning season since 2016 when they went 8-7-1. There's a reason they haven't made it past the Wild Card round since 2005. What Eric Bienemy did in KC (with Patrick Mahomes, mind you) should be enough to buy in and see where you land. It's not up to the players to dictate how he does things as long as it translates to wins. If it doesn't, then that's a conversation for the new ownership to have. Going to the head coach before preseason Week 1 is jarring and now it's morphed i...
