As most of you know, Cash Money Records is the label created by Ronald and Bryan Williams, better known as "Slim" and "Birdman". This record label saw one of the greatest runs by any artist in recent memory, the one they call Lil' Wayne. I'll go as far as saying that he's is the primary reason that Cash Money Records is where they are today, he was their big break. The guy went on an absolute tear from ~1999 onward but damn near harpooned his career when he did this:
Lil' Wayne is (was? are they beefing?) Birdman's protegΓ© and basically a son to him, hence the ballad they made together called "Stuntin' Like My Daddy".
To be clear, Birdman isn't really his dad, but they're so closely bonded that they french kiss from time to time, as friends often do.
Anyway, Druski started a record label, because of course he did. Why not? He knows everyone across multiple industries and he's blown up in recent years, may as well strike while the iron's hot. It's called "Coulda Been Records". There's just one problem.
He copied the Cash Money Records logo.
