Nobody Cared That Draymond Green Almost Died On The Court Last Night

Poor Draymond, nobody even cared to stop the game to check on him. Didn't they see him flail? Didn't they see him fall? Laying there like he'd been sniped is even funnier because the play goes on unabated. Someone shoots a 3, the rebounder casually collects the board and then just casually navigates around his lifeless body to the other end. ANOTHER TRIP DOWN THE COURT and Draymond is still writhing in pain on the floor. Nobody could be bothered, his teammates and the refs completely disregarded his corpse. Amazing visual for him to lay there for almost 30 seconds - nothing to see here, it's Draymond doing Draymond things. 

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise, but nobody was worried about Draymond's wellbeing. After all, he's made a career as an enforcer in a sport that doesn't call for it. His highlight reel isn't full of actual basketball material, it's all dirty plays, cheap shots, and unnecessary ejections. He's stomped every part of his opponents' bodies from their skulls to their scrotums. He chokes people out and punches teammates at practice. 

The thing is, he actually took a pretty solid elbow to the face. Still, nobody cared. I'm sure he'll go on his podcast and complain about how nobody stopped to check on him and talk about how cowardly it was, but that's just it. If he wasn't always in the middle of a dumb altercation or doing something wildly dramatic, people wouldn't be so inclined to ignore him. He's cried wolf a million times and earned a reputation for being a shithead, maybe people are finally tired of it.

It's the playoffs, baby.    1. Justin Jefferson's fantasy corpse was reanimated this week for some excellent fantasy production .  Oops! He got injured again and there were 3 total points scored all game. If ever there was a game that embodied a fart noise, it was this one. It wasn't exactly the explosive return we'd all hoped for as Jefferson may or may not have had internal bleeding after a hit in the first half. It was a mighty gut-punch for fantasy owners that thought they were getting a healthy Jefferson back after 8 weeks on the shelf just for him to leave early again and go to the hospital. The guy can't catch a break and the presumed WR1 heading into the season is now just WR46 thanks to some shit luck with injuries.
