Josh Rosen is a Swindler

 


The Browns are giving yet another black hole of a quarterback money to play on their team. That’s right, con man Josh Rosen has signed a one year contract with Cleveland to presumably bring up the rear on the depth chart behind Jacoby Brissett and Joshua Dobbs. This comes on the heels of sending three 1st round picks and close to a bazillion dollars to the Texans for someone that will more than likely start the season serving a suspension. This is the same team that somehow made Odell Beckham Jr. look like he wasn’t good at football in his time there. Finally, it’s noteworthy that the Browns just parted ways with the guy they drafted first overall in 2018 to lead their franchise, Baker Mayfield. Needless to say, the Browns remain an deliciously idiotic organization run by a family with spaghetti for brains. 

Josh Rosen has been employed by five other NFL teams, but you know what they say: sixth time’s the charm, I can feel it. 

In his only real playing time back in 2018, he threw 11 TD’s and 14 INTs through 13 starts and boasted a QBR of 24.1. Since then he’s attempted 120 passes total and bounced around to 5 other teams now landing in beautiful Cleveland. Not bad for the tenth overall pick in the draft in terms of work to production ratios go. 

I hate to be Lord of the Hindsight here, but it’s still comical to me that Baker and Darnold went ahead of Josh Allen, and Rosen was taken well ahead of Lamar Jackson. The hype surrounding Darnold and Rosen was smoke and mirrors. Talk about an all-time mismanaged draft. Lots of regrets in there for teams that thought these QBs were the future.

FFB Week 10: Twelve Takeaways

WELCOME BACK.  Another Wednesday, Twelve more Takeaways from this past week's action.  Alright, that's enough small-talk. Let's ride.  1. We had ourselves a good, old-fashioned Thursday night Ja'Marr Chase points explosion. More like a pants explosion for people that started him, am I right?  Anyways, it was a night to remember for Ja'Marr Chase fantasy owners as he more or less won a good portion of the matchups he was a part of before they got started. A Frame by Frame Celebration of: "The Halftime Show" by Creed That's right, folks. We're taking it back to the year 2001 and Creed had just blessed the music community with their third studio album, Weathered.  This album was the springboard that catapulted them into the epicenter of the early 2000's rock storm alongside other juggernauts such as Nickelback, Staind, and Hoobastank. Naturally, they were a top choice for the NFL's Thanksgiving halftime show and to say they delivered would be a gross understatement.
