Mattress Mack Made An Epic Hype Video Then Lost $3 Million In The Blink Of An Eye

The hype video didn't take. Prayers for Mattress Mack this morning after that display by the Horned Frogs. 

This old king throws money around like nothing I've ever seen before. He laid $3.1 million on TCU to win and Georgia proceeded to drop their nuts on the field to win by 58. 

The backups were in, starters were getting hot pretzels from fans and eating on the sideline while the game was still being played, it was that bad. This brings his tally to ~$9 million on lost bets between the last two college football championship games. He looks to be having zero fun in the video below:

It's safe to say Mattress Mack is the most prolific gambler in the world at this point. These are absurd dollar amounts and he's placing 2-3 fat bets per year. Last February, he placed the largest mobile bet EVER when he put $4.5 million on the Bengals to win the Super Bowl, which they didn't. This all sounds pretty bad but keep in mind he also threw $10 million on the Astros to win the World Series this past year, and they ended up doing exactly that. That netted him what's said to be the biggest payday in the HISTORY of sports betting, $75 million.

When he does lose bets it's absolutely staggering, but at this point he's playing with house money so what does he care? 

PS - Refusing to call them anything but "Team from Georgia" seems like a veiled shot that backfired.

WELCOME BACK.  Another Wednesday, Twelve more Takeaways from this past week's action.  Alright, that's enough small-talk. Let's ride.  1. We had ourselves a good, old-fashioned Thursday night Ja'Marr Chase points explosion. More like a pants explosion for people that started him, am I right?  Anyways, it was a night to remember for Ja'Marr Chase fantasy owners as he more or less won a good portion of the matchups he was a part of before they got started. We're taking it back to the year 2001 and Creed had just blessed the music community with their third studio album, Weathered.  This album was the springboard that catapulted them into the epicenter of the early 2000's rock storm alongside other juggernauts such as Nickelback, Staind, and Hoobastank.
