The Future Of The Detroit Lions Is In Good Hands

Somewhere, Jared Goff is wringing his hands and wiping away tears seeing this video because he knows his days as the Lions starter are numbered. 

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that's watched him, but Hendon Hooker is ahead of schedule in his knee recovery and he's back in the lab. He's set to be ready for training camp and make Jared Goff uncomfortable. He's also throwing absolute piss-darts (to teammates being covered by equipment managers, still counts). It's touch football at this point, but that's a nice spiral dropping into a basket from where I'm sitting. 

As a shameless Vols fan, Hendon Hooker is basically my hero. I can't wait to watch him in the pros. He's kicked this knee injury's ass and if I ever have a knee injury, I'll adopt the same mindset. Such an inspiration. He helped re-establish one of the primo college football dynasties, the Tennessee VOLS, and set them on course for greatness. Truly, he's leaving it better than he found it which is a polite thing to do. To top it all, he has a French's Mustard and Bush's Baked Beans sponsorship, free condiments for life. I'm sure he's busy but he's permanently invited to every cookout I'll ever have for the rest of time.

FFB Week 10: Twelve Takeaways

WELCOME BACK.  Another Wednesday, Twelve more Takeaways from this past week's action.  Alright, that's enough small-talk. Let's ride.  1. We had ourselves a good, old-fashioned Thursday night Ja'Marr Chase points explosion. More like a pants explosion for people that started him, am I right?  Anyways, it was a night to remember for Ja'Marr Chase fantasy owners as he more or less won a good portion of the matchups he was a part of before they got started. A Frame by Frame Celebration of: "The Halftime Show" by Creed That's right, folks. We're taking it back to the year 2001 and Creed had just blessed the music community with their third studio album, Weathered.  This album was the springboard that catapulted them into the epicenter of the early 2000's rock storm alongside other juggernauts such as Nickelback, Staind, and Hoobastank. Naturally, they were a top choice for the NFL's Thanksgiving halftime show and to say they delivered would be a gross understatement. Let me give a little background before we start dissecting the footage.
